The Stretch Zone Method® addresses flexibility from a neurological perspective. This is achieved by dealing with the muscle’s nervous tension (“tonus”) to reach an optimal active range of motion. The goal is not to make a person more “flexible” or “elastic,” but rather enable you to move more functionally by re-establishing a more ideal resting muscle tone. By re-educating the associated nerve-muscle reflex, the Stretch Zone Method® leads to movement becoming easier and more efficient.
Rather than creating soreness by pulling on our limbs to extremes, the Stretch Zone Method® works through the nervous system to achieve lasting gains in flexibility and range of motion. The method rests on the notion that changing and re-educating our muscle’s nervous energy is a major factor in unleashing our body’s intended function. This nervous energy, known as the stretch reflex, is our body’s automatic defense against the dangers of over-stretching. Any movement that goes too fast or too far, or is held for too long, will cause your body to resist with the stretch reflex. Once the reflex is activated, your body has effectively said “no more” and resists the stretch. Any further attempt at stretching becomes counter productive and may even cause long term damage.

Kimberly VaughtGeneral Manager
Kimberly was born and raised in Orlando Florida, she moved to Myrtle Beach in 2018. She has over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, and has always been passionate about helping others improve their quality of life. She enjoys working out, spending time with friends and her boyfriend, riding her motorcycles, as well as cuddling with her two cats.
Alexander EndlerAssistant General Manager
Alexander is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but spent most of his childhood in Houston, TX. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2018 with his bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science. He will obtain his master's degree in human performance/exercise physiology in 2021 through Liberty University. He enjoys training and competes in bodybuilding competitions. Most of his free time is spent at the gym and with his girlfriend.
Travaris SamuelStretch Practitioner
Travaris is from Conway, SC, he graduated from Coastal Carolina University with his bachelor's degree in recreation and sport management. He has three years of experience as an athletic trainer. He is motivated by helping others change their lives by promoting positive physical and mental health. In his free time he plays basketball and soccer. Most importantly he loves spending time with his family.
Claire SundahlStretch Practitioner
Claire was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University with her bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science. She is always striving to make an impact in other people's lives through different types of rehabilitation techniques. She is an ex gymnast and competitive diver. She also loves to travel, as well as spend time with her friends and her dog.
Hannah DresnerStretch Practitioner
Hannah is an exercise and sport science major at Coastal Carolina University, she plans to continue her education in pursuit of her masters in occupational therapy. She has over two years of experience in an inpatient rehab hospital. In her free time she enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Nick CribbStretch Practitioner
Nick has his bachelor's degree in community developmental health. He has recently worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, and he also is a Martial Arts instructor with 20+ years of experience. He loves spending time with his wife and daughter.
Morganne YoungStretch Practitioner
Morganne is from New Hampshire, she has her bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science from Coastal Carolina University. She enjoys being by the water, working out, and boxing. She is an ex athlete who played field hockey for six years and softball for four years.
Mikaela MiersFront Desk Coordinator
Mikaela is from Connecticut, but she moved to Myrtle Beach to attend Coastal Carolina University. She will be graduating in the spring of 2022 with an English degree, she is also a frequent golfer and horseback rider.
