    The Stretch Zone Method® addresses flexibility from a neurological perspective. This is achieved by dealing with the muscle’s nervous tension (“tonus”) to reach an optimal active range of motion. The goal is not to make a person more “flexible” or “elastic,” but rather enable you to move more functionally by re-establishing a more ideal resting muscle tone. By re-educating the associated nerve-muscle reflex, the Stretch Zone Method® leads to movement becoming easier and more efficient.

    Rather than creating soreness by pulling on our limbs to extremes, the Stretch Zone Method® works through the nervous system to achieve lasting gains in flexibility and range of motion. The method rests on the notion that changing and re-educating our muscle’s nervous energy is a major factor in unleashing our body’s intended function. This nervous energy, known as the stretch reflex, is our body’s automatic defense against the dangers of over-stretching. Any movement that goes too fast or too far, or is held for too long, will cause your body to resist with the stretch reflex. Once the reflex is activated, your body has effectively said “no more” and resists the stretch. Any further attempt at stretching becomes counter productive and may even cause long term damage.

    Joseph has been in the health and wellness industry for nine years. He specializes in Corrective exercises, injury rehabilitation, sport performance, weight loss and catering to people's needs. He has helped many people accomplish their goals and built amazing relationships throughout his career. He is a certified personal trainer through ISSA. Joseph played football for seventeen years. He has experience in coaching football, soccer and basketball. Joseph enjoys working with the youth on and off the field and being a mentor. He finds passion for helping the homeless and volunteering for people with special needs. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. His goal in life is to be an amazing father and to live a happy life. Joseph believes that stretching is a huge part of life because it improves your ability to do daily activities, decreases your risk of injuries and increases muscle blood flow. “I’m very blessed and honored to be a part of the Stretch Zone family and I’m excited to watch the company grow”.     Stretch Practitioner

    Blayne is a dedicated personal trainer who has passion for helping people improve their health and overall quality of life. He has spent years honing his skills in the fitness industry, gaining experience and knowledge which allows him to help his clients achieve their fitness goals. What sets Blayne apart from other personal trainers is his genuine care for his clients. He believes that building a strong relationship with his clients is essential to helping them achieve their goals. He takes the time to get to know his clients, their lifestyles, and their challenges. The information he gathers from his clients allows him to create a personalized fitness plan that is challenging and achievable. He is certified through NASM and ASFA. He has 10 years’ plus of experience in sports: football, golf and tennis. He currently enjoys playing tennis and golf.

    My name is Andrew Garza and I am a first generation college graduate from UTSA. I got my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and have spent three years as a Physical Therapist Technician. During my free time I am a high school football referee that travels anywhere across the state of Texas and also enjoy playing videos games.


    My name is Jessica, and I enjoy all things fitness & health related. I graduated from Texas State with a Bachelors in Exercise & Sports Science, and have been an ACE certified personal trainer since July 2022. I also have a Bachelors in Ministry, and truly believe it’s God’s desire to see people living healthy & whole. I’ve worked in children’s fitness for a few years, and currently volunteer in my church’s wellness ministry. I enjoy being outdoors, dancing at random moments, working out, spending time with family & friends, & helping those who are homeless and those who have special needs. And with that, it’s important for me to Stretch. Work. Play. Repeat. I look forward to meeting y’all!
